Our Mechanical Fastener System is designed to work with all types of metal framing. The Patented Clip & Pin components make installation quick and easy to significantly reduce downtime for retrofits and save labor with new construction. The same trusted components used in our RetroShield System® are now available and sold separately. The Mechanical Fastener Systems work well with any metal building insulation (MBI), bubble insulation or facing. Fi-Foil mechanical fasteners can easily handle a backload of cellulose or fiberglass less than R30. When installed 5’ on-center spaced 18” apart, the Clip-Pin fasteners on purlins provide a mechanical connection strong enough to securely hold in excess of 60 lbs of mass insulation.
